CheckRep Representment Program, Standard Import File Format

Below is the Standard Import File Format specifications for the CheckRep Electronic Check Representment program. When your files are in this format they can easily be directly imported into our software. Field 1 provides tracing data so that EFT Network may return a Result file for direct import into the agency database. Field 10 enables us to place the merchant name in the ACH file so it will appear on the NSF check writers' bank statement.

Internal Specifications: The file MUST be DOS ASCII variable length delimited with comma, encapsulated in "quotes". Field 8 is blank, but a quote comma delimiter must be included. If you do not choose to use some or all of the optional fields 4, 9 and 10 you must still include a comma delimiter. You may provide fields exceeding the maximum length, however, the characters exceeding the maximum length will not be imported into our program. The fields must be variable length and contain the following information in precisely this order:

EXAMPLE:
"STAC334453","STACI GARRIS","11/18/97","1328","103103103","6352415875","37.95,"', "25.00","SUP ERCUTS"It will help to name the file with the extension RP1 for the first file of the day and .RP2 for the second file of the day and so on.==============================================================================

Results File Field Additions
We will add these fields to the result file we create and send to you. Do not add Fields 11 and 12 to your import file.

The results file will be named the same, except the RP? extension is renamed OU?. The file can be found in the[ C:\program files\checkrep\results ] sub directory.
